Lithuania Freelancer: Fees, Taxes & Net Pay Example

Updated 2026-09-27 · Illustrative USD invoice · Not tax advice

Lithuania uses a flat 20% personal income tax for many freelancers, plus pension and health contributions that can push total set-asides higher. Marketplace and payout fees still come off the invoice first.

The example uses 28% on the post-fee balance as a simplified combined set-aside (PIT plus part of social). Confirm with a local accountant.
