Hungary Freelancer: Fees, Taxes & Net Pay Example
Updated 2026-09-27 · Illustrative USD invoice · Not tax advice
Hungary applies a flat 15% personal income tax on many types of income, but social contributions (TB) can add a large share for full-time self-employed activity. Marketplace fees still come off the invoice first.
We use 28% on the balance after platform and payout fees as a rough combined set-aside. KATA and other regimes are not modeled — adjust the tax field.
